Join us at 9:00 AM on Sundays for our Oasis hour!
We are striving to offer several different Bible studies for our adults to choose from during our 9:00 AM Oasis Bible Study hour. You may be wondering how we came about the name Oasis. Pastor Paul’s wife, Barbara, kicked off our first series of studies. She called it Oasis and challenged everyone to “Come Thirsty.” No, she wasn’t talking about skipping your morning coffee. She wanted everyone to come wanting and longing for Christ. Much like an Oasis to those who are thirsty for a drink, Christ quenches the thirst of our hearts, minds, and souls. Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, as we dive deeper into His word, to “quench” our thirst for His knowledge and wisdom.
We currently offer two different adult Bible studies at 9:00:
“Courage in Times of Trouble,” a study in 1 & 2 Peter led by our Outreach Pastor, Justin Reeves.
This class meets in the main worship center.
Cherry Hargrove is teaching from the book “The Magnificent Obsession,” a study of Abraham’s journey.
The book is authored by Anne Graham Lotz, who is the daughter of Billy and Ruth Graham.
This class meets in room #2 in the Welcome Center.
