At Grace Fellowship Church, we are excited about fulfilling God’s purpose for us by serving others.  Here are some existing opportunities that we have to serve others.

His Kids
His Kids is a children/youth ministry in Lampasas.  His Kids actually got its start some 30 years ago.  Richard “Big R” Williams started picking up children in his patrol car, and ministering to them at the City Park.  Today “Big R”, with the help of some of his friends and some of his former children, continue to minister to children.  Big R admits that the His Kids ministry has grown tremendously and that the joy shared in bringing the children to Christ is exciting and invigorating to the soul.

Lampasas Mission
The Lampasas Mission is a shared ministerial venture which provides families in need with all types of services.  If you are in need of anything from food to clothes, or furniture to counseling services the Lampasas Mission can assist you.  Grace Fellowship Church has dedicated itself to staffing the Mission one night a month.  This is a great way to serve those who need to experience the Hope that loving servants of Christ can provide.

Mowed By Grace
We wanted to provide a service to people who may not be physically, or financially able to take care of there lawn.  We also wanted to try to help out our community.  With this in mind, if any individual or the city calls for help in this area, we go take care of the lawn.  This is our newest ministry and we hope that it will really start to take off and blossom.

Prayer Team
At Grace Fellowship we understand and believe in the power of prayer; so we recently started a prayer team.  The purpose of the prayer team is to keep in touch with those individuals and families who have asked for our Church Family to pray for them.  If you are interested in being a part of the Prayer Team contact Jeff Cockburn at 512-564-0107, or by e-mail at jcockburn@gracefolks.org.

Upward Sports
We have teamed up with Upward Sports to offer an inspiring sports experience.  Anyone who serves in this ministry will have the unique opportunity to share Jesus Christ with children while teaching them the tremendous values that organized team sports offers.  This provides children to grow spiritually, physically, and mentally as they succeed and play in their favorite sport.
