Who We Are

Our Mission Statement

Equipping people to love and trust God…no matter what.
God is good and his desire is for us to be in relationship with Him. When we seek to understand His grace we begin to see how good He really is.  His goodness provides a foundation for us to love and trust Him fully with our lives…no matter what.

Our Vision

Grace Fellowship Church serves Lampasas by providing space for people to encounter and live out the gospel through our diverse ministries, and providing opportunities for community on and off site that allow people to join a vibrant, grace filled community.

Our firm commitment to ministering to children in the area will be expanded to include Children’s Church, a place for children of all ages encouraging worship participation and spiritual growth through God’s word. We will also continue to prioritize the Building Badgers Youth Sports League ministry for children, including affirming experiences in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and flag/tackle football and track.

Our youth ministry will focus on the discipleship of junior high and high school aged kids. In order to equip them to face the tremendous challenges of growing up in the hostile environment of the 21st century culture.

A renewed emphasis on fellowship will be the focus of Grace’s future. Our goal is that people will feel like they belong so that they might believe that they can trust him…no matter what.
The future of Grace Fellowship is bright as we respond to the challenges of the 21st century by teaching the age-old truths of God’s Word in the language of today’s culture. We press forward with the affirmation that with God, nothing is impossible.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but also God the Son, who took on human flesh to redeem sinful humanity. We believe in His fulfillment of all biblical prophecy foretelling the coming of the Messiah, His exemplary servant hood, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His manifestation in the person of the Holy Spirit, and in His imminent return. We believe that we can rightly relate to God only through Him, and that our relationship with Him is conditioned only in our personal acceptance of His acts of grace through faith.

We further believe that the Bible is a true and faithful record of God’s intervention into the human condition through covenant relationship, and that this record is true without any mixture of error. We believe that every human soul is competent to respond to God’s self-revelation, that every Christian is a priest under God without requirement of human intervention, and that the local congregation is an autonomous body under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, in whom we know freedom from spiritual and religious bondage.

 Legacy Milestones
Many parents believe that it is their responsibility to instill spiritual truth in the life of their children. Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 78, and Ephesians 6:4 compel parents to take the spiritual training of their children very seriously. As parents, our best effort at spiritual training is often bringing our kids to church. This is only a small part of the solution. Grace Fellowship Church believes it is our job to equip parents to effectively train our children in the Christian faith as they do the common things of life.
Faith is far more important than just an hour on Sunday and Wednesday night. How does a parent take on the responsibility of “primary faith trainer” in the life of their growing child?
First, the parent grows in his or her own understanding of the Bible and relationship with Christ. Second, parents learn how to effectively practice age-appropriate family devotions in their own home. Finally, parents learn to equip their children for the natural, spiritual milestones of life.
Grace Fellowship’s spiritual formation process begins in infancy and continues through senior adulthood, designed around seven Legacy Milestones. We partner with parents to equip preschoolers, children, and students with the Biblical and practical understanding to experience the next phase of life. In this way we build a legacy of faith into the next generation. We have created a simple path for families to walk on called LEGACY MILESTONES. This is literally the pathway for parents to walk as they train their children in the faith. All of our events, seminars, and processes are designed to support this pathway.

Small Groups

Hand out promo
Small groups are a key aspect of our church community.

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at Grace Fellowship, we encourage you to get into a small group.

A small group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, workplace, or online. In a group you’ll hang out, study the Word, and pray together.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids, workplace, under 20, over 40 — the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Freedom Ministries

Does the world shape, mold, and bend you into what it thinks you should be?  Right, wrong, or indifferent your parents, church, school, teachers, town, state, country, economy and experiences are all part of this world.  They have everything to do with who you have become.
The question is…

Have you become what God intended?   And if not…what is holding you back?

Money? Marriage? Life events? Join us as we go beyond the confines of this world and discover what it means to find freedom in Christ.  There are three main areas people are burdened in life…marriage, finances and living in grace.  The following three classes are the foundation of Freedom Ministries that seek to see people free to hear the voice of God again in their life.
This collection of material creates a healthy environment that allows the individuals to work through proven solutions.  Real change comes when people own their choices and this collection of studies limits the possibilities for codependency while always moving people toward authentic community.  As people begin to gain an understanding of how grace and God’s will permeate every area of their lives, they can no longer compartmentalize their lives.  Lives are transformed, marriages are strengthened and God is glorified in the midst of authentic community when people come to this understanding of the gospel and grace.
The disciples mended fishing nets for a living.  The nets they mended were not meant to be stowed away and handled with care.  They were meant to be cast back out to handle the rigors of fishing.  In the same way, the heart of freedom ministries is to allow people to find a place to heal, to have God delight in them and then to be cast back out to glorify Him through their transformed lives.
There should always be a focus in the midst of these classes to build authentic communities through

Building Badgers Volleyball

The all new Building Badgers Volleyball League will will focus on teaching age appropriate fundamentals in a fun, high energy environment.
